who owns the rights to the wiring diagrams? wiring diagrams are sold either by the dealer or (in my case) toysport. I don't mind people sharing the diagrams (I do it myself) but posting it on a public forum is (in my view) a bad idea. and who the hell are you to attack me personally? I had a concern and asked a question. chill out.

Wow...I think its a great idea...I know of tons of people who go through HELL trying to figure that diagram out. I dont think anyone Owns the diagram...If anyone does, Toyota does. Why would anyone sue? I dont see how anyone would be mad about a diagram "leaking" onto a forum, Im suprised it took so long. Theres no water mark, someone could have make it them selfs.

Im saving this to my HD and my backup CD right now just incase its gone, so I can put it on my site or share it with anyone who needs it...

AFAIK toysport is not the dealer or division of toyota or TRD... just some guys who own a shop that resells OEM diagrams you could get at the local Public Library for free.......... or off MR2oc for free ... or somewhere else on the net for free......

if it was proprietary information Toyota wouldn't release or sell it to anyone for fear that it would get copied 10 different ways from sunday and posted on the net 1,000 different places........... they also wouldn't screenprint the circuit board inside the ECU with the pinout configuration (which is all that's being displayed anyways)

there are also several other companies (Alldata/chilton/haynes/etc) who have wiring diagrams for the MR2 or whatever other car is out there -- nothing secret about those.........
