Thread: Engine Specs

    Default Engine Specs

THIS POST CREDITED TO FALLENHERO 6GC.NET

I've been pushing for hardcore engine specs on here for a LONG time. So, with that in mind, I am going to borrow from all over the celica communities and post up the info I have gatherd.

First, I know not about the 5sfe, so if someone has the specs, post em up. Secondly, if any of you guys come accross any problems, let me know and I'll fix it.
Also, anything that you feel should be added... let me know.

On the 3S-GE you should mention that that is the 1st generation engine, later generations go up to 210 HP and have VVI

No he means the engine that came before the 5sfe. I know that there is an existent 3sfe, but I've always wondered myself where the other revisions go. My only guess is that they either never make it out of the engineering stage or if they pass that never make it out of the factory itself for other reasons, so basically that revision is scrapped and they move on to a new change and thus a new revision.

Cept that in this case the 4S (1800cc) outnumbers the 3S and 5S.

They were fitted in ST163's and later most JDM Corona's from 86-96.
There is even a Corona 4S AWD S/W Automatic

i was gonna say some revisions went to certain countries, and some never got fuel injection, some both

good example example is a 21r
94 camry base 5speed, oil pump exploded
87 yota truck, it runs, it's in beater phase but it's been mobile.
