    Check all the vacuum lines. Also be sure the clamps on the intercooler couplings are tight.

    Check all vacuum inputs into the intake manifold by disconnecting each one, once at a time. The one that results in no RPM increase has a leak.

    Check water temp sensor. A failed sensor could be telling the ECU the coolant is still cold which will result in the ECU staying in warm up mode (higher RPM).

    Check throttle butterfly and clean accordingly.
