    Default Mystery hose! (2000 GT engine swap)

    Hi! First, big shoutout to Smaay! Thanks so much for the amazing Celica engine swap walkthrough. Currently using it to replace my North American 2000 Celica GT with a JDM 1ZZ. There looks to be a few minor differences in hoses/routing; I can't identify what the line is, as it wasn't present on my original engine. Original engine pic and annotated JDM image attached.     Not overly familiar with the JDM 1zz, but that looks to me like a PCV. If you check your valve cover and there's still a PCV where it is pictured on your USDM 1zz, I'm wrong. If there isn't a PCV on your JDM valve cover, that's what I think it is.

    It could be a coolant line for an oil to water cooler.

    My guess is that its an oil drain for the head... Just like the BEAMS motor has.
    They call me Chow Chow...
