Thread: Brake Pads

  1. #1

    Default Brake Pads

This might be a dumb question, but when ordering the front and rear brake pads, is the price quoted on the site for both wheels or just one wheel (e.g. 2 pads or 4 pads)?

Hi Grifter! It's almost ALWAYS for both sides. Most of the time, if you read the description of the item, they will call it a "Brake pad set." I don't think it's very safe to just replace one side. If you have unequal braking due to a difference in pads / shoes on either side it causes the vehicle to pull to whichever side has better braking power. Hey, now we're even for you figuring out my wiring harness info the other day!

    Have a great day,

They're sold as an axle set, so you get all four front brake pads in a set of front pads, for example.
