    Default performance uses for the CS injector???

    i have heard that the VW guys use their Cold Start Injector during wide open throttle, to get a richer AFR. Would this work on the 90-91 5sfe? I tried to search for info on this, but i could not find much on the subject. Could i just set up the CSI to run off one of the other injectors when at WOT?

    What do you guys think?

    Are you planning on increasing timing along with the increase in fuel with this method? Personally I think its just a band-aid tuning fix. The idea of randomly putting unmetered fuel into the engine that won't even be distributed equally to all cylinders sounds like a waste. Does the 5sfe run out of fuel at the upper rpm range?

    ya, i need to get a wideband on my car. I was thinking with my 58mm TB and porting out the intake manifold and head ports i might need a little more fuel in the upper rpm range. just an idea, i didn't think it would really be worth it.
