Mine was courtesy of the paving contractor that the WV DOT was using to pave I-64. They had cut the pavement down right at an expansion joint on a bridge. It severely damaged the sidewall but didn't immediate go down. That happened on the way home from work.

Had one on the Jeep, and then I believe I had one in the Celica, can't remember.

Too many to count. For some reason my beads are no longer locking on the rims fully, so every couple of days I walk out to a flat tire or two.

I have had one on the Buick. I replaced it, then got a nail in the new one and plugged it.
I replaced one tire for chunking. Again, on the Buick.
I have a slow leaker on Mudhoney. I haven't driven her in a year, and it is about halfway flat.

I've only ever had one flat tire in 30+ years of a driving and well over 60 cars owned. That one was also a slow leak that only required a plug.
My mom and dad on the other hand have had 3 this year and they only drive about 3k miles a year between the both of them.
