Default Welcome to the 4th Gen Forum.

Hey, i'm glad you've joined us and i'm sure the other Gen 4 owners will be pleased to have you aboard, your most welcome to pull up a stool and settle in.

As our cars become rarer, our knowledge will become greater - keeping these fine cars rolling another day!

If your new dont get frustrated, sometimes it takes time to learn but it's all worthwhile - we welcome all new owners of the 4th Gen Celica, if your more experienced within the celica forums, help new people keep their rides rolling

Ok, enough of the forum rules.

Sept 1987, TTE moved to larger purpose-built premises unveiling its first four-wheel-drive car, the Celica GT4 ST165.
Making its first World Championship appearance at the Tour of Corsica the following year, it proved itself capable of challenging the all-conquering Lancias from the outset, laying down new standards of handling and sophistication boasting a ‘real’ four-wheel-drive system that worked well. The first win at World Championship level was followed in 1989 at Rally Australia, with first and second places. The GT4 became a legend and the Generation 4 entered into the history books of WRC with 16 1st places and 2nd place driver title and manufacturers titles, the ST165 paved the way for dominance of future GT4's.

This would be better asked either in repair, or in the main 4g forum.

Check basics, hoses, coolant levels, etc first.
