    The other brands of wrenches just don't compare to the falnk drive plus' open end.
    I've tried the big 3 (s/o matco and mac) and the snap ons just outperform, period.
    they tear up the fastener a bit more, but oh well.
    I've had to replace ONE gear-wrench in like 8 years (besides the one i lost) and it was the 12mm, I just plain wore it out.
    The 14 is starting to get a little tired, but it's 8 or so years old too.
    I have no complaints with the gear wrenches. their open end doesn't compare to the s/o though.
