First thing first, this is in the wrong section.
Secondly, you're talking a lot of work, a lot of research, and a lot of money.

As far as I know (by using Google and searching forums... something I urge you to do), nobody has ever done it.
Why? 7th Gen Celicas still hold their value, and people can easily just TRADE their cars.
    I suggest that.

And please read forum rules before posting.

Not specific to Celicas - but I've found allot of good general information at this site:

Especially overview of all the Celica 4WD models and other good general info on boost, differentials, etc.

I got this link from a ts-ogn (Toyota sportscar owner group Norway) this is a extreme celica st185 build the target was 1100kg and 1000HP wich he almost reached, the car did put out 902HP on 2kg of boost, the owner was then running a turbo rated for 1200HP wich turned out to be a little too big, the car turned out deliver a bad power curve due to the gigantic turbo, he is now trying a smaller turbo but I think the target is still in 800-900HP range.
The car does also have pneumatic operated dogbox.
I know that the link wont make much sense to most of you since everything is written in norwegian, but there are som interesting pics from the engine build and the car build itself. and maybe you can try using google to translate the page.(probably won't make much sence thou)
    http://www.ts-ogn.no/phpBB3/viewtopi...ekstrem+celica
Here is the the link translated using google: http://translate.google.no/translate...n&hl=&ie=UTF-8

some of you might seen this video on youtube from the dyno session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=209nt8l6ISo

The owner of the car also sells pneumatic gear change system's: http://www.motorsporthuset.no/default.asp?side_ID=15323
not every day you see a 3sgte block prepped for 1000HP, he ran the engine in the youtube link wich worked well then he desided he wanted to go with a 5sfe insted wich I belive he is building now.

    The car is not mine.
