    Default Cleaning carbon fiber hoods?

    Just picked up an OEM ViS Sportline carbon fiber hood for my sixth gen. Anyone got tips on care/cleaning?

    dont slam it... press gently... and try to avoid buffing the gel-coat if u are gona leave it unpainted (can burn it). just use a nice wax and u are set

    Yeah just be careful with it and wax it gently.

    be sure to use 80 grit sandpaper to get out those annoying checkerboard patterns left over from manufacturing...

    nah. just play nice and use plenty of water when cleaning.
