    Default Rally/off-road style tires

I am looking to find a nice set of like off-road/rally style tires for this winter.. My Dunlop summer tires don't give much snow traction

Anyway, I want something that is pretty aggressive.. just some wicked tread.. maybe slightly knobby? I don't know.. just want something that will keep me firmly planted.

    Any suggestions?

I've heard good things about both the Blizzaks and Nokian tires.

Nokian are the way to go, that's what the SCCA uses on all it's winter rally cars. There's a specific model that are just for high performance, the Nokian XR or VR or FBI or CIA or whatever.... some cool sounding series of letters.

And just because you may not go over 100 on snow covered roads doesn't mean that you won't when the roads aren't snow covered!!!

I am doing a 3SGTE swap over the next months... trust me, I'll be doing over a 100.

I don't know how this winter will shape up, but I'm not going to be changing wheels all the time.. I want a good tire I can put on and leave on until summer.

Get the Nokian WR. It may not have the cool looking tread pattern you're looking for but it will get you through heavy snow and will perform all the way into the summer. They're rated to 130mph.

I called Jack Williams about the WR's and they didn't have anything that would match the celica.. not in 15 or 16...

What size are you looking for? They make the WR in a 205/50R16 size and it will fit your Celica just fine.
