Hello all,

I would like to put a 5SFE crankshaft (91mm Stroke) on my 7AFE Celica engine (which has a 85.5mm Stroke)

Will it fits ???

Thank you !!

Because, if the Crankshaft match, I'll put it and make my Engine 2.2L (I just have to change injectors and some stuffs). I'll put the 2.0L Crankshaft anyway to gain some cylinder (1.8L -> 2L). Some Hp maybe :)

If you make the stroke too long, you will sacrifice higher rpms.
Which is the main advantage of smaller engines.

That won't work. You can use some 5S parts interchangeably with the 3S, but the 7A is a totally different engine family. There are no major components that will cross over.

And where do you get this idea that the bores of the 4afe and the 5sfe are the same? they're not. putting in a 2.2 liter crank into another engine will not make it a 2.2 liter unless it's the same bore.

I know bud; It's why I'm asking ...
