The a/c in my grandmother's 98 kia sportage hasn't been working all that great lately. The air that comes out isn't cold, just slightly cool. I checked the pressure of the a/c system, and its right where it should be. Everything clicks on and seems to be running as it should. My question is, is it just because its so warm (90's) or is something else the matter? I know its main problem is that its a kia, but more specifically what could it be?

Well, IF stuff [dust, whatever] got in the system, it could have clogged up the expansion valve.
If you're convinced everything is good and working properly, you could try replacing the dryer and expansion valve. Then get the system evacuated and recharged.

Jeremy is right. Any type of moisture or particulate will prevent system fom working. Definitely evac the system and recharge.
