what would be a good asking price on a 92 gt liftback with 200k miles?

Depends on the condition, how's the paint? anything broken? leaks?

http://www.edmunds.com/used is a good start

depends on your location too... Do people mainly buy used cars or new cars?

Edmunds is a good place.. or www.kbb.com

For an idea... I paid 2K for my celica... 90 GTS.. fresh silver paint job.. Could've been better.. but over-all the exterior of the car is clean.. and it shines.. no noteable rust.. I bought it with a 152K.. Interior is in good condition.. clean.. other than a few cig burns in the shifter bag.. and there was one tear in the rear seat .. I never even see it.. always have stuff back there.. Just basic stupid little shit on the interior but nothing horrible..

Came with 7th gen rims and nearly brand new Dunlop tires and an aftermarket head unit..

They thought the car needed new "engine mounts" which scared me.. because if doin a rear engine mount on the celica was anything as difficult as it was on my corolla.. But turned out to be a walk in the park on the celi.. However I knew immediately it didn't need new mounts.. luckily the seller didn't know shit about cars really.. lol
