View Full Version : Oxidizing Paint?

What is the best stuff to use on oxidizing paint to make it shine again? Reason is, my roof is starting to age pretty bad after being alive for 15 years, also my hood and trunklid are starting to too....any info would help thanks...

ive heard and read that those clar bar kits help alot...anyone know the truth? :D

Clay isn't for oxidized paint, it's for physically bonded contaminants. What you need to do is strip a layer of oxidized clearcoat off (not the whole coat) with an abrasive polish. The clay, and preferably a paint cleaner, is a preperatory step to the polish.

So what exactly, as in what products, would you propose i get. Costs? How? etc....

What steps or procautions should i take also?
