View Full Version : My carpet...

So my carpet came awhile ago but I didn't go put it in until I fixed a leak (stupid rear fluid nozzle)... Carpet came slightly out of mold, so fitment didn't do much ): Cost me around $160CND- wish it came molded better so I could have overlayed it ontop of my old carpet and cut as needed.

Can you guess which of the two is the new? (:

I didn't take any "install" pictures but basically I cut a line down the center of the ds/ps area for the center column so I could easy fit it. Then from there once everything settled and looked right, I started doing some slight trimming and making the holes.

Now that you see, donate to me (:

How's the look? And fit? Compared to stock?

I like the stock fitment better. as for the look, its good color and looks nice. The fitment could be better. I'll have to spray some adhesive or something to hold down the carpet and in some areas, and also some parts seem to be a tight fit (press down on one corner and the carpet just moves) ... Oh it would be so nice to have a new carpet molded down and holes done out for ya. Maybe I should have pulled off that hard underlaying thats on the old carpet and put it on the new carpet for a better mold/fit.

I never liked the light gray carpet. They should have made it darker from Tahara, Japan. How much was that carpet you bought, and where?
