If you want to waste your money on spark plugs get the Denso .4mm (or is it .6mm?) Fine Wire iridiums..

Otherwise NGK or Denso copper plugs will do nicely and cheap.

I personally just put in a set of NGK Iridiums into my 91. Made a slight difference but nothing major though. Like everyone else said standard NGK's are fine. I'd only be going for top of the line plugs if you've modified the engine to the extent that the plugs have become a limiting factor.

top of the line in what sense? Copper is an excellent conductor of electricity, much better than these platinum superdupercrapper plugs.

OI! why wear the platinum outside as a ring or necklace when you can stick inside your engine?

Eh... Copper oxidizes to easy though. Not that copper is bad.. just that to stay on top of performance it's best to clean them off with every oil change.

Aren't the platinum plugs just platinum plated copper? Just helps increase the service life since it stays cleaner.

Copper plugs are better.

Platinum plugs last longer.

Just as with anything else you must choose: Do I want better, or longer?

And then I thought iridium was the viagra of spark plugs. Better and longer.
