We got newcelica.org as the 7th gen authority site.

we got 6GC.net for 6th gens..

we got 4gc.net as the 4th gen authority,

should we waste our time on the generational forums?

what does everyone think?

Yes, waste it. We need to have some commonality for people to blend into, atleast for now.

I dunno, the more I think about it, the more I think they shouldn't be around. All of the topics to be found in generational forums can be deferred to another forum. It's also amazing how much of this stuff will carry over between generations (at least general practices, etc), and people probably don't venture into other generational forums very often.

i say leave it.

what if someone like me has a 3rd gen question. and then 6 months later somebody comes along that can answer it?

its gonna be on page 100 of a general forum

I agree. I think we should leave them, but try to post in the other portions of the site if the information can pertain to other generations.

Dude just leave them. I haven't really checked into only those generational forums but I find this one more convinient because we have fi and na here.

I agree

Unless it's really a huge hastle to add them it certainly won't hurt anything......it might turn away new people with other gens too if they see everybody posting with 5th gens and there's not even a place for them with their 6th. I dunno, just my .2 :) I'll still be happy either way

im with everyone else.. keep them. some people might not know shit about a 5th gen, but have heaps for us about 7th gens.. im not interested in 7th gen info. if they were all in the one forum people would crack the sads. if all gens had the same engine then i dont think it would matter, but due to the different nature of the different vehicles i think they need to stay.

BTW.. WELCOME BACK HENRY! or welcome aboard i should say. look forward to reading your stuff.. you always been the man. hows the rx7 going?

Keep them, its easier to find your specific car than having to trudge thru 100's of posts.

I agree with Henry. Organization is key when dealing with forums. I really like this site.
