Hi there my name is Travis. I am 29 years old. I have a 1990 Toyota celica gt. The car was left to me by a really great friend of mine who unfortunately passed away from cancer. I work at Walgreen's and have a great family who supports me. My daughter is almost 2 and love's car's already. My wife is not really into car's but she support's me and that means a lot to me. Now onto the car it is pretty ruff around the edges but it will be a great learning experience. I've never really worked on any Toyota's. so this is going to be a great learning experience and fun project!

I'm not sure how to post pics from my phone lol. But my plans for the car is all motor 5sfe. Body restoration and 1/8th mile 1/4 mile drag car. And just to have fun driving it to local shows and meets.

Welcome :)

If you want the car to be genuinely fun to drive do the suspension and drop in a nice sounding stereo. It will save you loads of money too. :D

Who spends money on a Celica? That would cause it to resent you.

Treat it like crap. Kick it. Smack it into things and call it names.

Then it will respect you.

Like the dirty whore she is.

Has worked for Chaos for nearly two decades.

I inherited the car from a friend who passed away. I'm fulfilling both his wishes and my own. That's why I want to build it for drag racing. But I still want to be able to drive it on the street as a antique.

The 5S-FE will not do well in drag without serious $$$ invested. Pioneering folks have had better dollar to performance ratio with doing motor swaps, either V6 or turbo swaps.

You could make it a 12 sec car in the 1/4 by gutting it and swapping in a 2grfe with a e153 and LSD. It would be great to drive on the street and just put some really wide slicks on for the track
