Because Murica, and Freedom the fuck on.

Walking out after finishing all the paperwork, I saw this face.

Got a little closer and saw some sexy curves.
http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/3/9/8/7/img_20150619_134610292_hdr.jpg

I said, "I hope you got a big trunk, cause I'm putting my bike in it"
http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/3/9/8/7/img_20150619_134657983_hdr.jpg

Then I did something crazy and took her home to meet ma.
http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/3/9/8/7/img_20150619_202150597.jpg

I said, "Ma, doesn't she got a really nice ass?"
http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/3/9/8/7/img_20150619_202251060.jpg

Ma agreed.
http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/3/9/8/7/img_20150619_202259487_hdr.jpg

She took my hand and said, "Welcome to boost town!"

If only I knew her name...

I kept trying to push him to a Fiesta ST or a Mustang Ecoboost, but alas he didn't take all of my advice, just most of it.

I am just biding my time for the GT350 to hit the streets and prove a mass produced flat plane crank reliable from a domestic automaker... Then a new pony will follow me home.

Thank's all.

My gas mileage has been understandably in the tank recently. Lol I'm at least 30% sure I'll get better about that... ish.

She does have a name now. She has been dubbed "Tris". Partially because she is "divergent" herself, but also because I'd totally give Shailene Woodley the 20 worst seconds of her life.

Murgatroy

The mileage won't really pick up until you have 10k on it, regardless of how deep your foot buries itself in the floorboard, until the engine is broke it, it won't operate at peak efficiency.

How does it feel to be without a Celica?

LOL@Seth's comment :D

Ford has been turning out some reasonably decent quality automobiles the last couple years. Color me surprised.
The last "new" Fords I have experience with personally were the 2000 Mustang and 2000 Focus. Both were sorry piles of shit.
Glad to know that they are at least attempting to put out something that will potentially last more than 5 years now.

Well, I don't feel like I'm gonna fly apart at the seams every time I get on the highway now, so that's a plus, right?

You're going to have to be more specific than that. I've been a comic genius in this thread. :p

But yeah, I mean, the Ecoboost motor has gotten some nice reviews of late. And when you couple that with the fact that if you go into a Toyota dealership saying "I want a new car" and their response is, "Ok, what type of vanilla kitchen appliance would you like?" Kinda made this a no-brainer. I didn't want any of that commuter shit that jerks your steering wheel if you're drifting out of your lane or the shit that flashes at you and all that crap. I just prefer to "pay the fuck attention" instead. You know. And with the Focus ST, even the fully loaded one doesn't have that crap. Granted it has the nav and backup camera and the bitchin' stereo, and the full leather Recaro seats and all... Heated freakin' steering wheels, n dual zone climate control, n heated mirrors, n heated seats, n all this fancy shit. Funny part is I'm still in the phase where I try to open the moonroof, and turn on the dome lights instead.

At either rate, the first mod has already gone on the car. It is a clear decal that reads: "Objects in mirror are losing". :D

Congrats. Almost got one of those about a year ago. I didn't for two reasons. One, I hate whateverthehellbrand sports seats they MAKE you take with the premium audio package. Two, the electric power steering didn't agree with me. Aside from that, fantastic car.

Murgatroy

Recaros. And the electric power steering is specifically designed to prevent torque steer in the FWD application.

The power steering should also be adjustable, I know it is in Harmony.

Nice pick up Seth. I've eyed these for a while but haven't driven one. I like the looks of the Focus and the ST is sweet! Congrats!

If that woman that takes up space in my house and uses my last name knew how to drive a manual, we would have a Fiesta ST.

I will be honest, I have thought a few times about trading Harmony for one, but I don't want one THAT bad.

MCcelica

I haven't played with the power steering yet, but I do like where it's at if it's adjustable. Something to look into. One thing that has tripped me out is the headlights that turn around the corner whichever way you're steering. That's nuts.

It tripped me out at first, but it actually really works, especially on the highway.

She passed the 500 mile mark today, so she's officially not a "new car" anymore... Lol

7th gen still runs. And there's what, 8 fewer years she's had to stack on nearly the same amount even with my year long vacation to Iraq? That's a warrior spirit if I ever saw one.

Looks good. I was considering one of them, but the wife didn't care for the tight seats and I would have had to go for a used one...

When Abby was totalled out, we got the records and found out that the dealer I bought it from, rolled the ODO back 100k.

That put her at 31X,XXX when she left for the scrap. I miss her....

We're looking around and comparing features/price shopping a couple different SUVs right now. The 2016 Explorer is one of the final 3 on the list.
