Which one of you moose jockeys is rescuing this prize from some Saudi prince?

I've seen this car in person - It is indeed showroom fresh.

However, I don't think it has been run or drive much in the last 25 years. Might have a lot of seal replacement to do. Depends on how well it has been kept.

And what about the gas in the tank?

Sorry, not for almost $70K, I could have a nice MKIV for that kind of money. shit I could get two nice MKIVs for that kind of money. Or a nice MKIV and the a 165 and an FC and an FD and a 205 and bribe someone to let my 205 into the country with a title for that kind of money.

I would expect the price to come down after the publicity subsides.

Apparently it's been there for that price for a while. There's one around here that looks just as factory fresh runs and is driven every summer by an older guy. Hell, there's also an older guy with a red FD RX7 and an old lady with a red AE86 Corolla. All stock, all mint, all red, all driven by old people. I've always wondered if they're friends.

Yeah it has been at that price since I last looked at it maybe 5 or 6 years ago.

There is a good chance the dealership just likes having it on display.

But then again, you would think they would be in the market of making money, and selling it at $20k would probably net them a 500% profit on it.
