Hola, mi amigos. Thanks for keeping an awesome forum up for our awesome little cars.

I've been looking around for a hinge for my trunk; passenger side broke. There's a few bits of Celica stuff on ebay, but I ran into partsforlessaz.com, and got a list of some Gen5's in the midwest salvage. Sadly, only 5 are in existence in the whole area. Here's a list of numbers to call, if you're in need of parts for your 'rare' car. They may crush these soon :sadcry:

928-783-7803 arizona

775-825-6761 nevada

800-748-8811 arkansas

800-247-6738 illinois

800-672-5844 carolina

Hope this helps someone. And sorry if this might be considered posting in the wrong area. Please move, if necessary.

You spoke to a small time vendor with few contacts.

Using the P-A-P database I found more than twenty without breaking a sweat.

I wouldn't worry about the availability for a while.

Your a little far, but there are 7 coups in the 3 yards near me. (Only one f#$@ing Gts). Car-part.com and row52.com have been pretty useful for me

When I lived in San Antonio (2010-2013), the PNP's there always had quite a few Celcias and they were almost always coupes.

There are quite a few out there. I've seen 4 or 5 on the roads in WV since moving back. They're still out there so don't worry too much.

Thanks guys, the person I spoke to definitely limited what he told me, it seems. Had me nervous for a minute:) I don't have much to need cosmetic parts for, but it's good to know there's still a few out there.

The yards around Phoenix also were chocked full of them. Hell that's what I pillaged for rims & tires when I was there last.
