Ok so took the celi for a rip to the border .. About 130km trip .. Cruising 5th gear about 110km/hr entire way .. Get to my destination and my rad is boiling (you can hear it bubbleing ) and it's pukin rad fluid out of the overflow tube

Yet the entire drive the temp gauge stayed normal never creeped over middle once .. And the temp outside was bout 3c .. Ate dinner come bAck check fluid topped her up with a little water (bout half a liter ) .. Drive home stopped half way to check. No boiling all is good. Continue driving get home check again all is good .... wtf ? Haha

Maybe an air pocket in the system somewhere?

It may have been an air pocket. The other possibility is a weak radiator cap. I had this happen with my 'trac. I replaced it with a new TRD cap and problem was solved.

Lil late but couldn't hurt to do a cooling system tune up.

Cap, coolant, thermostat ( get oem or a fail safe)

Check hoses for leaks/seepage
