St165 stock rims/tires:
14x6
205/60/14

I'm looking at picking up a set of 2005 TC rims.

Tires on it are 215/45/17. Rim offset is +45.

Would these be ok for rollers? Down the road they'll be coilovers & spacers, but for now I just need them to roll around on.

They will fit. Harry and Mindy ran(run?) tC rims on their ST165/205 swap.

I figured they would.

I went and picked up a set of junkyard 15's from a 5th gen just for peace of mind. I'll pick up these TC rims later in the week. Two of them have 215/45 while the other two are 225/45.

Can't do that. Tire sizes need to be identical.

I mentioned that, but as he has the junkers already, it shouldn't hurt since he can get new rubber for them at a later date.

Check with Stacy, but I don't think you need a rear spacer... she stuffed some 17x8+35 with 215/40R17 Starspecs (same width as a 225 due to overly wide tire) into her 165.

I have a 1992 narrow body GT hatchback with gts/alltrac front fenders, I run 235/45 (star specs) on 17x9 +35 on all four corners without spacers.
+22 on a set of 17x8s with 215/45 fits roughly the same as those.

Note the car has mildly rolled fenders and Megan street coilovers (along with T3 rear control links and trailing arms, tie rod flip up front with my IS350 rotors and the 5x114.3 conversion)

Sadly, that info doesn't apply here, as the car in question in a 4th gen.
