So, I was planning to eak more life out of the really bad tires that came on my st185, but came home today to discover that one of the tires tore through the sidewall. I gjuess it's just luck it happened in the garage instead of on the road. I really hate the wheels on it right now (they're not stock), and I don't want to waste money putting tires on them.

Anyway, I've been looking at wheels for a while and thinking about these (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=4727808035PS&wheelMake=Enkei+Racing&wheelModel=RSM9&wheelFinish=Platinum+Silver&showRear=no&autoMake=Toyota&autoModel=Celica+All-Trac&autoYear=1993&autoModClar=&filterFinish=All&filterSize=All&filterBrand=All&filterSpecial=false&filterNew=All&filterWeight=All&sort=Brand), the short is they're 17x8 with a 35et. According to Nitro_alltrac/cms-gt4's post here (http://www.celicatech.com/forums/showthread.php?57611-Widebody-Wheel-Sizing-FAQ&highlight=17x8), they should fit.

My bigger concern is in the future, since I'm wanting to go coilover, and I have a set of Porsche big brakes for the front wheels, advice? suggestions? ridicule?

How big are the brakes? Make sure that 17s clear that caliper.

I have that size wheel with coil overs and big brakes. Works fine.

Captain, are you running with spacers in the front?

What's the barrel size on that rim? MY RPF1's just barely clear the brakes, so the point where I can't run wheel weights.
