Hello!
I just had some new wheels and tires installed, and found that my rotors need to be replaced.

Are these parts available for shipping to Canada?

Front
43512-20610
43516-20010

Rear
42431-20280

Also, do you happen to know why the front rotors would have two different part numbers? Are they physically different?

Thanks for your time.

Not sure why they have two different numbers listed. Either way I cannot get any of them for you. Japanese parts that I dont have access to.

They have different part numbers because the venting in the front rotors is curved, not straight, so the front rotors are 'handed' left and right.

A JDM parts supplier like RHDJapan or Nengun can get them for you. Sucks that Lithia can't - I would always advocate using Lithia if they can get the parts.

Thanks for the kind words Funkycheeze. It is always hit and miss as to what we can get but I am always happy to check.

Hey Tracy,

Another quick question.
When I had my new wheels mounted, they told me that my front caliper is seized. I've been looking around for rebuild kits, and since the front calipers on the ST205 are the same as the calipers on '93~98 Supra TT, I'm wondering whether these two kits are exactly the same (and if they're available).

ST205 Front cylinder kit #04479-20220
Supra TT #04479-14140

Jeebus, since you're in Vancouver you might have an easier time getting items shipped to a receiver just on the other side of the border. There's a number of such businesses in Blaine and Point Roberts who will accept your package for US$3.50 and up. Bonus is that Canadian Border Services agents are unlikely to actually stop you and require payment of duties and taxes on something small ($250 is common), especially when the border is even moderately busy.

The ST205 kit is not available but the Supra TT kit is. I don't know if they would work on the ST205 or not. With a different part number there is going to be something different. I might be who or where the parts are made, it cound be a physical difference. No way to know for sure with out the two kits right next to each other. I checked the part numbers of the calipers and the TT caliper number is not the same as the ST205. There again, I don't know the difference.

BTW- we ship to Blaine and Point Roberts all the time.

The pads are the same front and rear, but the castings are different (different lettering on the side). If I were a betting man, I would say that it is a difference in piston diameter, due to a different weight distribution compared to the MKIV TT.

Thanks for the help!
I just paid a ridiculous amount for some license plate clips at my local stealership.
I'll be sure to check here first next time.
