The only two things you need to look for on your swap is the series (S vs. A.) as they are incompatible and Revolution is it's the S-series 5SFE. Manual or automatic only matter when it comes to the transmission, not an engine swap.

If you have an A-Series motor, just source a 4AFE from 1990-1993 out of a Celica.

If you have a 1990-1991 5SFE, that is a Rev 1 engine without Knock Sensors.

If you have a 1992-1993 5SFE, that is a Rev 2 engine with Knock Sensors.

You can put a Rev. 2 engine with Knock Sensors into either a Rev 1 or Rev 2 engine bay (you just don't connect the knock sensors to anything). You'll have a hard time putting a Rev 1 engine into a Rev 2 engine bay because of the lack of sensors.
