View Full Version : Sunroof Drain Tubes?

Hi all,

I have a 2000 Celica GT.

I just had a leak into my rear seats which filled up like pools!!
I proceeded to take things apart and found that the two rear drain tubes needed to be reclamped and blown out.
After fixing that leak I also found that water was coming in where the wires come in through the rear hatch so I fixed that as well.

Now a week later I have a new leak into the front Passenger floor. :banghead: I have read that there are two more drain for the sunroof that go down that way.

Does any one have pictures of these or a diagram?
Also does anyone know where they exit so I could just blow them out from there instead of tearing everything apart?

They run down the front A pillars and drain into the fenderwell area in most cars. Sadly, you will need to remove them to get them clean since usually the clogs develop from decomposing plant matter and dirt that gets stuck in there. If you plan for a couple hours to get it done, it shouldn't be too bad. If you have a wire hanger, that will speed up the unclogging process after removal.
Perhaps someone else can link you to the diagram you are after.
Hope this helps and welcome. :)
