6th Annual Mt. Rainier Run
September, 21st - 2013, 9:00AM
Mt. Rainier, WA

Toyota Syndicate Northwest is headed back to Mt Rainier for the sixth consecutive year! You'll definitely enjoy the curves and switchbacks the mountain has to offer going up and back down it...as long as there are no slowpokes in front of the pack ;) .

On the 21st, we will be starting out early to enjoy a great breakfast at Dixie's Home Cookin' in Sumner at 9AM. Afterwards, a quick fuel fill up at Fred Meyer and then the awaited journey up the mountain.

Dress appropriately for Mt. Rainier. One year we had quite the amount of snow on the ground and the next very minimal to none.

Entrance fee to Mt. Rainier National Park is $15.00 USD (credit, cash or National Parks Pass accepted).
We've got 25 people coming out for sure, and another 20 maybes. If your planning to come out let us know. Especially if you're planning to join either the northend or southend meet points.

Southend (Portland/Vancouver) meet point: Starbucks @ Northeast Tenney Road, Vancouver, WA. Arrive after 6:25, roll out by 6:45. Look for a red 7th Gen Celica
Northend: TBA

Please ask before reposting, we want to keep track of who's coming :)

Damn you guys. Too damn early. Im going to be rolling into WA the 20th in the morning. I dont think Ill be able to swing this.

09-10-2013, 09:58 PM
Bro, you should at least come have breakfast with us

09-10-2013, 10:21 PM
Bro, Im not necessarily coming from that direction, although MAYBE I can swing it.

Ill look at my plans. Maybe Ill get into WA on saturday, stay up in Seattle area Sat/Sun (going to the PSTOC meet sunday) and then head down to where my father is later.

Ill keep this updated.

Where in the Portland area are you coming from? I was looking into alternate routes up in the Puyallup area, but my dad lives in Ridgefield, so I usually just go through Portland and up into WA.

What time will you have to leave where youre at to be to Sumner by 9am? Im genuinely interested, but this is a hell of a stretch for me, given I will have been driving all night long just to get there.

09-10-2013, 11:22 PM
The plan is to meet in the Jantzen Beach area (Right on the Columbia river between portland and vancouver) and roll out by 6:45AM.

We're also planning to take a group out to PSTOF (the PSTOC event on Sunday), if you're interested in that.

09-10-2013, 11:36 PM
Im going to that meet for sure. Yours, if I can swing, Ill be there too. I want to go on the Rainier cruise. Its awesome up there.

We would love to have you along Luni even if it is just for breakfast.

09-13-2013, 01:51 AM
I've been thinking about going out to a red door, and I don't know if I'll be able to make PSTOF (Might have other commitments that morning), so if any of you plan to make it out let me know.

Not gonna be mad if I show up in the Broccord are you?

Considering I will be rolling in a Ridgeline... it will be nice to have someone to share the Honda jokes.

09-14-2013, 12:37 AM

Updated information with a southend meet point. It looks like it's gonna be a really good turn out, hope to see a few of you there.

09-19-2013, 06:40 PM
Hope to still make it. Im still up in the air about whether my departure time and arrival time, having driven all damn night is going to work for me to make this cruise.

09-20-2013, 12:20 AM
Keep us posted, It'd be cool to have you there.

09-21-2013, 12:42 AM
Dont think Im gonna make this one guys. Its just too early. If you had it later in the afternoon, Id be able to, I understand why its so early cause its a drive up from Portland area, but I wont be getting into WA until around 5AM and Ill need at least a couple hours of sleep. That wont give me time to be in Puyallup area for breakfast.

My timeframe for leaving this state didnt work out like I wanted. If I were getting on the road like now, Id prolly make it in time. That is not the case unfortunately.

09-21-2013, 01:08 AM
That's cool. I've got a co-pilot seat open if that apeals to you, otherwise we'll catch you another time bro.

09-21-2013, 02:02 AM
I got my GF with me. Maybe we can meet up and have lunch/dinner or something later on in the week.

09-21-2013, 09:02 AM
luni, are you still headed to pstof, if you are let me know, OTOC's crusing up in a group. pretty early sunday morning.

09-22-2013, 05:35 PM
I dont know. None of the people Im visiting up here are going to it, and its supposed to rain. I may stop in on my way up to Joels house.

09-22-2013, 06:59 PM
its okay my plans changed at the last moment, i may go to the big rdm meet here in portland but thas at 6:30 under the Hawthorne bridge, usually about 300 plus cars
