Totally forgot I bought one, trans is now back in car, planned to swap it out while I had more room, but oh well...

Any tips or advise? Space is the main issue.

The SS clutch line is just a short piece. Simple to get to if you remove the airbox. :)Aside from bleeding, it should be about a 30 minute job.

Well yes it should be, but the fitting @ the firewall wont come loose and now I've rounded the nut.

Ordering a new clutch master cylinder line( the hardline on the firewall) grrr this clutch job is becoming expensive

PB Blaster and time my friend. Makes for less headaches throughout. Sorry to hear about the bent line though hopefully it gets sorted soon and for not too much extra cash.

Yeah PB blaster has been my friend im gonna soak it again and let it sit over night and try with some vice grips. If not I'll order a new line.

I broke mine loose with vice grips (clutch master) and a flare wrench on the other side (trans side). I sprayed it with PB plaster then used the palm of my hand to give it one good, hard whack and it popped loose. Just trying to take it off the normal way really rounded mine too. It had been at the junkyard awhile and was really set in.

Thanks guys, I said screw it I can't waste anymore time on it. Not pulling trans back out to do it. Oh well ill have the line in my parts cabinet for a later date. :-(

Why would you need to take the trans out? Go to HF and get their 18" long vice grips, move the airbox and you're set man.

Tried that no room to get at it. Idk its suck cuz I want to change it out, gonna try one more time today after work, might end up pulling the entire line from master cylinder out and do it out of the car.
