90' Alltrac
So everywhere in my town sells 91 octane that's e10 (10% ethanol added) one gas station here sells 91 without any added ethanol. So which gas is better to run?

Around here we used to get e10 in the summer and real gas in the winter (something about controlling smog when it's not raining), I got better mileage on real gas. Now state law requires e10 year round and my mileage is probably a mile or so less per gallon.
This is in my 01 GTS with the 2zz-ge, so 90+ octane.

I'd run non e-10 if it was available, better mileage for cars not designed to run on e-10/85

+1 to what Marshall said. If you can get real gas, run it. It looks like you're not gaining any octane advantage with the E10 there. You'll get better fuel mileage with pure gas.

Yeah go with the regular gas . Only use ethanol blend if it gains you an octane advantage.

Alright that's what I was figuring. Cause ethanol is only added to get it to 91 octane so real gas it is then.

Here we have 94 octane and that is what I run on... Tried 91 in the jdm st185 and it didn't like it too much... But apparently in Japan they have like 102 octane or something like that...

The higher the octane the better. I'm not sure about Quebec, but Japan uses a different calculation method to come up with the octane number, RON, I think. In the US the octane number is a combination of RON and the other other method which results in a lower, but equivalent number. I should know the details but I'v brain dead this morning and don't feel like Googling it.

MON (motor octane number) is the other one, and the only useful one.

For your alltrac, use 93 max. More won't help without a retune.

That's what I use also. Our 94 is about equivalent to what they use in Japan.

I think someone calculated it out to roughly 95 over here. I think they use RON and the pumps here say (RON + MON)/2 on them.
