As far as I can tell these are on the old side, probably 5 to 10 years old, and they definitely have some rust. ~$100 to ship them, ~$600 to buy them.

I'm not desperate to buy struts, but the price is really good, maybe too good. thoughts?

I think that guy also has them for sale on alltrac.net might be worth contacting him over there.

Yeah they're on AT.net as well.

I'd say too good. With them being as old as they look, they probably will need a rebuild soon. So by the time you factor that in, you would probably be better off buying a new set.

I actually saw them at AT.net first, and the difference in price ($800 at at.net and $575 on ebay) makes me a little wary. at AT he says he ran them 10K, but wont say whether he bought them new or used, and the wear on them makes me think they have a lot more than 10K on them.

Since I don't plan to drive the car other than to get it smogged for a year or two, I'm just gonna hold off. I've dropped a lot of money on Alexandra in the last couple of weeks anyway.

Better to wait, and do it right the first time... granted, I can change springs in a GT coupe in about two hours... I can remove them even faster in a junk yard.
