View Full Version : Trouble on start

Good day, fellow Celica owners,

I've got a 1993 4A-FE Toyota Celica. About a week ago I started getting this problem:

This happens only when the car hasn't been used for a whole night. After this first moment has passed, the car behaves as usual, without any RPM drops or stalling.

Today the problem escalated a bit and the engine stalled on the first start. After that it started without problem.

Does anyone have an idea of where to look for this problem ? The loud noise, which coincides with the RPM drop, is the doors closing.

My car was doing something close to that recently (except sometimes i would stall at lights or after revving the engine), due to the weather recently i got condensation in my fuel lines/tank. used some water wetter and gas line anti-freeze and it's worked like a charm ever since. Could try that, cheap fix at about $1 if that's what is happening.

Thanks for the suggestion, Siyx.
That was one of the thoughts I had myself, but haven't tried it out yet.
