I bought another celica. Technically my gf and I bought it together and shes going to be driving it (totally a chick car) but still, not all of us have given up on celicas.

Its a 92 GT with only 147K on the clock and is in pretty decent shape overall. Its biggest problem (besides the fact that its an autotragic) is the steering rack is pumping out fluid almost as fast as you can put it in. Its going to need a timing belt and some seals up front pretty soon as well but other than that its good to go; A/C even works!

...not to rub salt in any wounds but we paid $600 for it delivered to my door.

clearcoat on the roof is long gone:

still have to det ail the inside but its overall really nice inside too:

oh yeah bitches! :headbang:

Nice. My car had 124,000 miles on it when I sold it. It's good to find old cars with somewhat lower miles than usual.

Not bad at all.

I remember when Chaos had low miles like that, ten years or so ago...

This is my GF's official first car. We may have a new generation of celica fan in the family.

Especially for a car thats easily got another 100k in it.

Very nice good deal too, I tried looking for a 3rd-6th gen but they were either not around, had over 200k on em, or were beat to shit, so I bought a slow boring 94 camry instead. But it has freezing a/c and only has 103,000 miles on it

Man, that's the exact color of my old 5th gen... Mine was a 5 speed coupe though.

I remember when my 7th gen had that low of miles on her... Like 6 years ago. :D

Which reminds me. I need to do another serp belt and tensioner on her since we jacked up the last tensioner putting it on, and since the AC compressor clutch going out kinda jacked up the belt... it squeeks when it hits the spot that the compressor was on when the clutch went out now...

Sorry, ADHD.

Congrats on the pick up, and I'm sure you'll detail it nicely.

oil changed and found that the major oil leak it had was a combination of the filter not all the way tight, and a loose cam cover. Also, what was told to me as a bad leak from the steering rack turns out to just be the pressure hose from the pump to the firewall crossover, a much easier fix. still going to have to take apart the front of the motor but its not a huge rush. Took a little run to the beach and back in it today. So far so good.

Nice to see someone buying instead of selling around here.
