Hi I'm new to this forum but not new to 4th gen Celica I'm on st162.net (same name)

I own a 1987 celica convertible I bought it in September 12' for 2100$
With 159k without was very clean except for the top.

I have done alot since then

Poly suspension bushing all around
Distributor
Plugs and wires
K & N Panel filter
Cheap rims and tires (New ones soon)
axles
Clutch slave cylinder
Valve adjustment
front pad and rotors
Radiator and thermostat
Random parts like the top boot cover which my car did not come with
Center console with cup holder New hvac controls and heater valve
Led interior bulbs
New non bent front bumber and lip
Probally more.......

I have been contemplating selling the car be a US I really want a fourth gen gts or a first gen 3sge to put in to this car but I really like the st162/5

I would just keep an eye out on ebay or your local junkyards. So, why the first gen 3sge over something newer?

Mostly because ease of the swap but idk guess I wouldn't mind newer

Thanks lol but it's still far from how I would like it exterior and interior are very clean but top and engine need replacing then I will be pleased.
My plans include
new engine
New top
A nice old school rim
Megan 5th gen coilovers(low)
Whiteline sway bar
exhaust will depend on engine tho
Rust proof for sure I have a couple small spots
And replacing all worn parts
