Can it?

The axle I ordered from RockAuto came with the ABS ring on it. Everything else is fine, but I don't have ABS. Can I just knock off the ABS ring and install the axle as normal? Or can I use the ABS axle on my non-ABS car?

Yes the abs ring should just be pressed on...a couple good whacks should dislodge it.....keeping the ring on might run into clearence issues ?

You can just run the ring. It wont hurt anything.

I was sidetracked by work this weekend, didn't get a chance at all to do anything besides top off my gear oil. Stupid AC..

Tim guess you need to find abs hubs now. The only difference between abs and non abs is a sensor and the ring. So like luni said you are fine to just run them.

You should be fine leaving the ring on. If you look at the hub, it probably has the hole for the abs sensor.
