I'll believe it when it slaps me in the face. Then I'll have a decision to make between that and the FR-S.

Hybrid super car for the fail. It took Subaru to get Toyota to think about weight. No way a hybrid system can weigh less than an equally thought out pure gas motor car with the same performance.

There are very few performance cars left. The BRZ/FR-S/GT86 are great, but the question is, how long until we make them soft so they can sell?

Suby is making an AWD, Turbo, Convertible BRZ... I'd be interested in a hatchback version of it.

im excited for it if it does happen and im hopping if it does happen that i can order a targa top version, oh and that car better not be a "flappy pedal gear box" or an antomatic transmission. i hope that toyota learned from the 7th gen celica and the mistake they made buy matting a 2zz with an antomatic transmission and mate that 3jz with a manual only.

Hybrid setup... so it's probably going to be automatic.

Great... make it push like every other subaru...

Fuck AWD. Just put a turbo in it or give it just a bit more power and call it good.

Everything is so damn heavy these days it sucks all the performance out of the car. I am guessing all the current safety requirements are a big factor in the weight increases as well as the additional creature comforts.

Oh wait, I wasn't thinking about buying one anyway.

A little off topic, but five FRSs showed up for the first autocross of the year, so they are at least selling some.

There are a TON of FRS's and BRZ's running around here. There doesn't seem to be a problem moving them here.

The BRZ has replaced the Porsche 911 as the most popular new sports car to buy at my work. There must be close to 10 of them, plus a couple of FR-S's.

Funny, I have yet to see a BRZ out here.

LA had a ton of FRS's on the roads. I see them all over. They must be selling well.

Everyone at my work drives Fords. We have a slew of Taurii, Focii, Fusi..i. Several Effies and a couple of Moostangs.
