Looking good!

Thanks! It's a bit dirty in the picture and was inoperable at the time. Thankfully i got it all back together

I think most of us can relate to that. I have two celicas, one dirty, one inoperable, lol.

I actually really like those rims, what are they?

The stock 17in scion TC rims. I picked them up all four for 40 dollars rim and tire

Ha, I guess I just only like stock rims.

I'm not one for flashy rims.

Props on the tC wheels. Im running a set right now on mine until I can afford wider ones. I like the way they look, just wish their offset was a bit different and that they were wider...

Im on T.C wheels as well. They are a good looking rim.

Based on the picture I would really suggest a spacer in the rear. I really dont like the "Sunk" look, they are like $70 on ebay for hubcentric ones. I have some on my car an I feel like they made the car look much much better. Thats just my opinion though...

I had to get a 25mm for the rear...
They interfered with my coilovers

careful though to be sure and get toyota specific ones... I ran into issues with stud type and hub-centric bore size... I had to increase the bore radius on my wheels by 1mm FML...

I complain about it every day. I'd like to get some once the repairs are done. Stupid wheel hub. Just has to be a difficult part to find. And I'm not sure if I've mentioned, I just got underway with my 3sgte build! Ill be taking pictures along the way. Pretty excited to see what's to come of this.

Looks good, can't wait to see the 3S start coming together.

If you're looking for a replacement hub, get one through tituswilltoyota.com (https://parts.tituswilltoyota.com/oempartscat.html)(formerly 1sttoyotaparts). I just replaced one of mine, $140 shipped to my door in 3 days. I think I got a similar price through the local dealership but it took just as long and I had to go pick it up.

Work I've done during the ownership of this car:
10-21-11: engine install
11-2011: plugs and wires, brakes
1-2012: fuel filter
3-2012: replace vsv and bvsv
4-2012: exhaust manifold gasket
9-2012: oil pan gasket
10-2012: replace alternator
3-2013: replace drive axel
4-2013: replace wheel hub assembly

Hopefully I get a jump on my 3s build. I get my own work area in my new apartment. I still have a few bits and pieces to track down.

Well, I think that this deserves an update after spending 550 on tires and a few more dollars getting my missing motor pieces. I also got a set of 92-93 Tail light vents and a short shifter. I get to start building my 3S now. I also wrapped my TC wheels in 215/45/17 Toyo Exstensa's. They seem pretty nice, but anything was better than my mismatched "slicks"

I went to pick and pull and got some 92-93 tail lights!

I managed to break the center section at pick and pull, so I will have to wait for one to come through here. I'll go with adequate tools this time. But its a small update, but worthy. Oh and my vented lenses are on as well!

Looking respectable. I would suggest a 25mm spacer in the back. I am running the exact same wheels and tire size and it makes a huge difference in appearance. The rims come out with the same amount of "tuck" making the car look more balanced and planted. What is also nice about the scion rims is they are not a super open face design so you hardly notice the spacers unless your standing right beside the car looking downward. Hey while your at the pick and pull does that thing have abs? I need a front driver side sensor, hell I need a ton of stuff really... ah ill just PM you so I don't clutter your thread. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I keep meaning to get spacers. But I also keep buying parts to finish my 3s build. Lol. I'm hoping to be done buying parts within a month. I just have the wire harness, which I have a lead on, and decide which transmission to use. And then the fun of putting it all together. I'm ready to get on with the fun part

Transmission choices are S53 (stock 5th gen 5S-FE), S54 (stock 6th gen 5S-FE), E150F (conversion to FWD, and either use the ST185 crossmember or modify the stock one), or the E153 (again, ST185 crossmember).

Ideally, I want to use the E153. That way I don't have to buy the hybrid clutch setup. Leaves me with more options. But I also have to track one down

Good choice, hardest part seems to be tracking it and a ST185 crossmember down.

I think my buddy junctrac on here has an extra crossmember from his clip probably, hit him up if u have trouble.
