What year & what engine? Toyota technically doesn't refer to anything in the ignition system as an ignition module. The ignition system has an igniter, a coil, a distributor, etc. When you say "ignition module", which of these 3 terms used by Toyota are you referring to?

Well, I still don't know what year and what engine you have, and the ignition systems were all different for 5th gens. But it sounds like you are wanting to go in a different direction than the igntion system now anyway.

Even if we assume that 5SFE is the stock engine and you have the generation correct -- the 5SFE was used, in various forms, in the sixth-gen Celica, the Camry and the RAV-4 -- that still only narrows it down to two possible ignition systems depending upon the year.

I would suggest that when asking for advice and someone replies with a question to answer fully. They're helping you, so be courteous enough to do as much to assist them as you can.
