As you guys know..I built a parted out engine..now I have it semi-running (tuning it) and I put a bolt in this hole (pictured) because it leaks a ton of oil. What went here? And what is the thread? It's not 1/8 npt. I have my own sensors connected to the Autronic so I don't need a sensor there if that was what was there. Picture responses are preferred, but I'll accept a description. Thanks!

That's the stock oil pressure sensor location. It a 1/8 bsp thread.

Oh, cool. I'll just plug it then. I'm using an oil temp sensor and oil pressure sensor from the ports by the oil filter. They have their own gauges. 1/8 bsp? or 1/8 bspt? I think there is bspp too.

1/8 BSPT is british standard pipe thread. I have never heard of 'BSPP' perhaps it means british standard pipe plug. Mcmaster carr carries the plug you need, in any case. Part number 4810T181

bspp is parallel thread, bspt is tapered. I actually found my old oil pressure switch and plugged the hole with it even though I don't have that section of the wire harness anymore.

All the oil gallery plug and sensor tapered threads on toyotas are BSPT, definietly a tapered thread.
