Any of you guys installed or driven a gt4 with lightweight flywheel? Just wondering about pros and cons....

I have a competition clutch chromoly flywheel in my ST205. The flywheel definitely allows you to rev the engine up pretty quick, but I personally dislike it very much for launching. I find it near impossible to launch my car with the lightweight flywheel. It bogs down so bad as it loses the revolutions so quick. Perhaps with a high horsepower setup (hopefully will be there someday) it will be alright and not such a big issue on launches. If you want an AWD car that is going to drag race or you want to be able to launch off the line then I would probably steer away from the lightweight flywheel.

Those are my few comments from running with the lightweight flywheel.

Thanks heaps! Originally I built the car for drags but now just a car for me to drive and have fun so launching isn't a priority anyway anymore. If that's the only downfall maybe it would help getting the revs up quicker for the bigger turbo
