This weekend I picked up my Grandmother's powder blue 1990 GT. She stopped driving and my GF could use a backup for her 14 YO Mustang, so we took it.

It has 55,000 original miles and the front bumper has been repainted. Aside from consumables, it's intact and accident free. It needs a belt/fluid/brake overhaul and the engine is a little rough but I'm hoping replacing the IAT sensor that's faulty will fix that.

That IAT sensor will be my first actual car repair. (No snickering.) I just installed new lights in the garage so it wonít be my last Iím sure.

Cheers guys and girls and I'll be here often now.

Welcome! Just forewarning these cars are very addictive to work on, but anything you do is definitely worth it. That car certainly has a lot of life left in it.

I've talked to only two other people with powder blue Celicas. One was on my trip across country and the other was back in Pasadena. Both were owned by little old ladies, driven by their grandsons. I'm sensing a pattern.

Welcome aboard!
