Im having a friend put this BVSV in and wanted to know what steps to tell him...

ALSO... I do know that the BVSV is easy to brake the blue things so I need that info too...

Unscrew old one, screw in new one and don't break the nipples?

Honestly, remove the airbox, filter and intake hose. I also drain enough coolant out of the system so you don't have to deal with a mess.

The fitting for the BVSV is brass, so it's softer and prone to distortion because it's hollow. Make sure you have a proper fitting wrench with as much surface area as possible. As in, don't try and loosen the or tighten the BVSV with jaws at an angle that could put pressure on it the wrong way. I used a small hammer to gently tap mine to make sure it's loosened, then unscrewed turn by turn. Cleaned the threads, and installed the new one. Don't over tighten or catch the blue nipples.

Add back in the coolant you removed, properly connect the vacuum lines and reinstall the airbox, filter and intake hose.
