My turbo was supposedly sent off by previous owner to be upgraded to a ct27. Does this look like it was or just rebuilt to oem ct26? Or worse off nothing done to it at all.

I can't tell anything from the pic, check side to side and in/out play. Are the blades nice and sharp, any dings on the turbine blades?

If its a 27 it will have an ATS stamp on the CHRA by where it bolts to the manifold.

It wasn't sent to ats, someplace in albuquerque new mexico did it.

Fins are sharp, no dings, no shaft play.

I thought ATS was the only company that did the "CT27". I'd assume rebuilt.

I reck'n you could measure that inlet..

looks larger than a ct-26 to me, and the inlet looks different then a stock one, texture and color wise.

Inlet compressor wheel was 50mm.

Inlet compressor wheel was 50mm.

Then yes it's upgraded, but hard to know to what extent. Everything could be stock CT-26 other than a larger compressor wheel and porting the inlet to match. As far as being a "CT-27", if it wasn't sent to ATS, then it's not a "CT-27". But, that's just a made-up designation by them, anyway to put a name on the particular upgrade they do.

Lets just say its an upgraded ct26. If anything on it was modified then I am sure it will do better than a stock 26.
