This is my money pits. it's a Hard top 91 n/a with a v6 swaps. One of the earlier v6's back in the days. Also formerly known as the Founder of the jack stand club. :lol:

What transmission is that? How do you plan to work around the shifter being on the wrong side for your MR2?

Probably the same way I put a MR2 transmission in my FWD Celica.

The transmission was shipped from the UK, it's similar to the likes you'll find on the lotus evora 3.5L :)
Gearing is very high so it's only suited to engines with alot of low end (v6's and diesel 4cyl) otherwise it will drive like a pig
I have solutions to the shifter selector but it's the least of my worries on this swap, no speedometer ring, and an axle issue are at the top of my priority.
Recently opened a WTB thread for the speedo issue, just hope some one here can help as i given up on 6gc forum

it's an old build dating back to 06, took my time to get it running. If your ever near by during a mr2 monthly meet or the yearly bcmr2 event i'd let ya rip it, it's a whole different experience enough to turn anyone away from 4cyls hehe. The locals here i let test drive couldn't look back at their 3sgte the same way ever again, the feeling of instant torq just bring a smile on my face every time.

aside from mostly custom they are just ls430 calipers.... mr2's has it easy since they use 114.3x5 so were open to alot of big rotors which is not so easy for the celica lugs unless you convert it.
I do have a 6GC but no funds to convert that rather id put that money on a st205 :D

But a conversion was just confirmed to use RAV4 front hubs with camry rotors and a full camry rear hub/rotor setup.....

nice, i just havent put much research into celicas as of yet. does the geometry change or the hubs are perfect fit?

Front:

OEM Celica wheel bearing
RAV4 Front hub (SXA11 which I think is 96-00)
Camry Front rotors (XV10 91-96)
OEM Celica calipers and pads

Rear:

91-96 Camry Rear hub assy.
91-96 Camry Rear rotor
OEM Celica Calipers and pads.

Voila! 5x100 to 5x114.3 conversion complete.

Now go forth and explore awesome wheel options!!!!
