like the title says. will this work? im lookin for a direct replacement without having to mod anything. thanks in advance everyone. oh the shocks in question are kyb gr2

KYB lists them as different part numbers, 365075 for the fifth-gen front inserts and 365092 for the sixth-gen front inserts. They're even different weights, the fifth-gen version being a touch lighter.

no they wont, i tried putting 5th gen shocks on a 6th, they bolt up but the camber was way off

edit: the inserts i beleave will work because i had some kyb front inserts on my 94 and i think they were for a 5th gen,

what if i use the houseing for the 6th gen shocks as well on the 5th gen? will i run into the same problem with camber?

if u use inserts u should be fine

If camber is the problem, you can counteract that by using lobed camber bolts, however, the inserts will work, but the question becomes why not just run the 5th gen specific stuff? Do you have some good deal on the 6th gen stuff or something?
