Technically this isn't a Celica problem but it's a car problem, sorry if I put it in the wrong spot.

I've got a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 2 O2 sensors, pre and post cat. Somehow Bosch or someone else screwed up when I bought them and I ended up with 2 post-cat O2 sensors, which have a slightly different plug than the pre-cat.

Can I simply cut the plug off the old pre-cat and put it on the one post-cat sensor? They are both heated, narrow band sensors

The sensors in question:

Bosch 13138 - Post cat - http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/2000-Jeep-Cherokee-4WD/Oxygen-Sensor/Bosch/_/N-je9i2Z9ixrpZ1z13yie?pageNumber=3

Bosch 13122 - What I was supposed to get for the pre cat - http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Bosch-Oxygen-Sensor/2000-Jeep-Cherokee-4WD/_/N-je9i2Z9ixrp?itemIdentifier=231950_439286_1784_2001 %2C97999

You should be able to.
Are the tips the same?

The new ones both have the same tips, the old ones have different tips. On the Autozone site they do show one with the tip the incorrect one has, with the proper plug. So they appear to make one with the tip I have and a plug I need.

Then you may want to return it and get the right one.

I can't. I bought it in the US of A for 1/5 of the price it's listed for up here.
