Is this hard to find/expensive?

I just got my celica in a trade and the amp is missing :(

really sad to only have 4 of the 10 speakers hooked up

I have a couple Sys 10 amps. One is working for sure...

4 out of 10? Usually if the stock amp goes missing the 2 in the doors stop working and the rest (provided the p/o used a plug n' play stereo harness) so you're left with 8 working so if you only have 4 working I'm thinking you may need someting else.

Im still on a stock sys10 system. If I unplug the sys10 amp, the deck is dead. Since u don't have the amp and the deck apparently? works then I don't think the amp will solve anything.

If your in town you're welcome to borrow my sys10 amp lol.

I believe a plug has to be swapped in the back (mini harness going to the amp) so the head unit goes to all the speakers except the door. If the plug isn't swapped, it's still going to the amp, and not all the speakers will get power.

The car has an after market deck that has 4 50watt channels.. so I am assuming the back 4 speakers are hooked into that as those are the ones that work

car barn I will pm you

Assuming you have a 5th Gen Celica in something other than an early 1990 model year, then every wire connected to the original head unit went to the original amp (except, of course, the auto antenna control relay wire). That said, if the amp was removed and no wire hacking was done, the after market deck would not operate any speakers. Because your aftermarket deck operates 4 of the 10 speakers, your speaker wiring has been modified. Just so you are aware of that. If you did reinstall an original amp, not sure what would happen to the 4 speakers that are currently working - it depends upon how the wiring was modified for the after market deck.
