hi, does it worth it building a gen 3 head? I'm planning to buy +1mm valves, gsc 268 9.7 lift cams, spring and retainers.

My light mods are:
16psi con b20 turbo
FMIC
3 inch exhaust
3" down pipe
turbo header
msd ss8207
trd wires
walbro pump
Light weight Fensport's pulleys ( alternator, power pump, crankshaft)
light weight flywheel ATS
+1mm fuel rail machined
fidanza's pulleys but on std degree

everything is on my std 3sgte gen3 ECU and std block

The Cams are definitely worth doing. The valves, springs and retainers, maybe. Depends on your goals down the road.

You would be better off with just getting the cams and keep everything else in the head stock. Use the money saved on a better turbo. You won't gain much at all doing those mods on a ct20b. The larger valves wouldn't even help at the power range of that turbo.
